A School of Skills is a type of specialised school in South Africa that focuses on providing practical skills and vocational training to learners who may not thrive in a traditional academic setting. These schools cater to students who have learning barriers or difficulties with the mainstream curriculum, offering a pathway to acquire skills
At our Carlum House Vocational campuses we aim to provide individualised quality education and vocational learning for children between 14 -19 years old who are not able to access mainstream education because of the nature of their neurodiversity, learning differences, social and emotional needs or challenging behaviours.
